Thanks for an amazing year! Help us finish strong!!

Dear Saints,

We have had an amazing year together! From the extra jubilant Holy Week & Easter services to our "live animal" Christmas Pageant; getting to host the Portland Chamber Music Ukraine Benefit Concert, the Voices Project Juneteenth Black Business Fair, the Fall Kick-Off Party and the Refugee Art Show; emerging art and spirituality groups; celebrating staff retirements, welcoming new staff and having Alex as our summer intern; welcoming new members; improving our online worship offering; responding to increased needs through our Outreach Ministries by serving an additional 60 households, or around 460 households a month and almost doubling our food output in the Woodstock Pantry, serving 100 Hot Meals and assisting roughly 50 people each week through hygiene items, showers, clothing and the handmade hats and scarves; receiving numerous grants; and making significant strides towards the Woodstock Pantry Expansion and Completion project. We are writing to say thank you for the love you bring to this community that makes it all possible and to let you know that we need your help.

With expanded ministry comes increased expenses. Like you, we have had to cope with the cost of inflation, and everything costing more, as we try to grow our ministry. While we have done well, we still have a deficit of $4,000 at the end of this year. We want to end this year in the black and have a fresh start to an exciting new year of ministry in January. Even a small year end gift can make a big difference. Thank you for prayerfully considering this request.

If you would like to make a year end gift, you can do so here. You can also put a check in the mail, but it must be postmarked by December 31 to be counted for this year’s giving.

Looking to the new year, if you haven't made a 2023 pledge, but would like to, you can do so here. We are only short $2,500 to reach our pledge goal. We are so close. Let's go over the top!

We appreciate anything you can do to help. Thank you again for your gifts of Time, Talent and Treasure! We are looking forward to another great year together!

With love and appreciation,

Sonja Miller, Finance Chairperson

The Rev. Andria Skornik, Rector
