Short + Sweet | All Saints Episcopal Church

Dear Saints,

Many of us have been luxuriating in the cooler weather this week. It seems to have come just in time. This Sunday, however, it looks to be on the warmer side again. So we are going to keep things short and sweet. Short — we are going to do a few things to abbreviate the service and get you out before it heats up. Sweet — we are going to have popsicles and ice cream bars again! I love how indulging in these treats make us all look like kids ;) We also have added two A/C units in the Parish Hall that have really helped.

As you can read about below, the Stations of the Cross exhibit is coming down this next week. On Sunday, please take a moment to ring one of the chimes one last time as you say whatever prayer comes to you.

Also this Sunday, take a moment to fill out our seminarian Alex’s survey or fill it out online. Alex will be with us this Sunday and then will be away on a family trip for a couple of weeks. He’ll return the week of August 22. We will celebrate his time with us and send him off on Sunday, August 28 (though, hopefully he will come back and visit).

Our 8:00 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite 1 Service, held in the Chapel, is our most traditional service. All are welcome. Our 10:15 A.M. Holy Communion, Rite II Service, held in the Sanctuary, includes a Sermon, Readings, and Hymns. You can participate In-Person or in the Live Premiere on our Facebook page or watch on our website. The current bulletin and service can always be found in the Online Worship section of our website. All are welcome.
